I just wanted to send you a short e-mail to let you know I think you guys are great! I received my fish today (5 zebra danios,
a betta butterfly, and a very large ramshorn snail) and they were in better condition after being shipped than any fish I have ever bought from a petstore! I will never buy from
a petstore again! Thanks!
Sincerely, Jennifer W-L Everett, WA

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that all of the
fish arrived safely today. Everyone is active and adjusting well to the tanks.
My (existing) Clown Loaches haven't stopped swimming with the new Congo Tetras and the Cobalt Blue Zebras actually have better coloration
than my existing stock (even after shipping)!
Thanks for all of your help! Robert S.

Hey
Nevin, Just a quick note to let you know that the fish made it just fine. Also, thanks for throwing in the albino
peacocks. They seem to be getting along with everyone else. I'll check out your site every now and then to see if there are any new fish. Thanks again, it was a pleasure doing
business with you.

Reply. Yes, Jordan, we ship to Arkansas and to the other 48 continental states, plus Hawaii, and to both Anchorage and Fairbanks in Alaska.

Right now it's February and it's too cold for us to safely ship fish to Arkansas, but in a few weeks it will be warm enough to ship to you. Send us your order about April 1st,
and that's not an April Fools Day joke! |

Is it possible to get a reduced price shipping fee for a small order? My order is less than it would cost to ship, and I
cannot find the animals I want anywhere else.
Thank you for your help. Lance B.

Reply. Hello Lance. Thank you for giving us a chance to explain, why we charge every order
$33.25 for shipping. There are no exceptions to this
shipping charge.
We evaluate every order we get to determine which delivery company can best deliver the fish that have been order to the address of the customer. Most of the fish that we ship are in a box for
less than 18 hours, and our fish tolerate that period very well. We could reduce the shipping cost, but choosing a less expensive way to ship, but we choose the best.
We also spend extra time packing our fish, and usually put each fish in a separate bag. Then we put the bags of fish in a well insulated carton, that is properly labeled. We could cut corners in
many of these steps, but we are trying to do the best job of packing not the cheapest way to pack the fish. You can read more about the details of how we pack fish in our reply to Chelsea's
email that is further down on this page.
So we pack the fish very
carefully and ship them
with the best delivery
company. The result is
that we need to charge
$33.25 for shipping.
Many of our customers, who live all across the U.S., do not have a local fish store that carries the variety and quality of fish that we do. In other cases our customers have lost confidence in
the service and advice, that they have received from their local fish stores. So they have turned to us for their fish.
Many of our customers have sent us emails, after they received fish from us, to complement us on the health and quality of the fish that they received.
If you have a local fish store that has the variety of high quality fish at the price and with the service that you need, then we recommend that you support that store.
