i just read the section on water conditioner. i got there by exploring about cloudy water because i have been having this problem for a little while now. anyways i change water 1 or 2 times a weekly religiously. but i have been adding 1 drop of water conditioner for every new gallon that i put into the tank. now i see that this is not needed. so how often should i use the conditioner if not everytime and i continue to do my water changes. the article i read didn't get totally specific. thanks for the help.

Reply. Hello Mike. If you change 20% or less of the water in your aquarium, then you usually do not need to add any water conditioner. If you change more than 20%, then it will be risky to your fish, even if you add Water Conditioner.

More recently our advice has changed. To be extra safe we now recommend adding a high quality water conditioner, when you do a partial water change in your aquarium.
