| Male Dwarf Gouramis |
Both
of the fish, pictured above, are the same species, Colisa lalia.
Aquarist call the top fish a Dwarf Gouramis and the other
fish a Fire Red Dwarf Gouramis, which doesn't exist in the
wild but were developed by skillful fish farmers. These are
both wonderful aquarium fish: hardy, energetic, easy to
breed, and very colorful. Right now the ones in our
aquariums are even better than usual.

| Green Cobra Guppy |
Our fish buyer made a special trip to look for new fish and found these Guppies. We've got a lot of them now, and they're our current favorite Guppy. The cobra pattern on their bodies is the best we've ever seen. We're wondering if they should be called Gold Cobras, but whatever the name, you can see they're beautiful. They're also very healthy and energetic, which is important to us.

Redtail Blue Loach |
Here's a very beautiful Loach that used to be very popular but now seems to be less common. It should still be very popular, because it's very hardy and energetic, and doesn't cause much trouble, but is able to fend off trouble makers, and does very well on a diet of premium fish food.

Red Spotted Severum |
Look at the coloration! This is one of the most beautiful freshwater fish in the world. To my eyes the colors rival Discus Fish!
To get the maximum coloration you'll need to grow them a bit and feed them premium food, which is what DrTom did with the fish in this picture.
By the way this fish is a mild Cichlid species that's not too aggressive. They're also another good example of the unique fish available here at AquariumFish.net.

Sunset Cichlid |
A long-long time ago, when DrTom and Nevin Bailey were kids, they kept and loved some Sunset Cichlids. The Brothers were always asking lots of questions, and when they asked about the name of this fish, their favorite old-timer, Frank Dayes, said to just look at the colors and the horizontal line.
Nowadays this Cichlid is often called the Nicaragua Cichlid, but the Bailey Bros. can still hear Frank's explanation. So we call this fish the Sunset Cichlid. Whatever their name they're gorgeous, less aggressive than most Cichlids, and very hardy.
The one in the picture is a mature male about 4" long and showing his full colors. The ones for sale now are 2" to 2.5" long and show no colors. Feed them premium food then watch them grow fast and develop wonderful colors. This is a highly recommended aquarium fish.

| Neon Orange Cory Catfish |
Wow! What a great aquarium catfish! This is the most colorful of all the many species of Corydoras Catfish, and they are much brighter than the pictures show! All Corys are wonderful aquarium fish, being hardy, energetic, comical, useful, and mild tempered. Almost every freshwater aquarium should have some, and this is our favorite Cory. They love eating bits of premium fish food.

| Hifin Swordtail |
Swordtails
are one of the most popular aquarium fish. Males have long
swords on their tails. This Swordtail also has a longer top
fin. These are very energetic and beautiful fish. They grow
to be about 3.5" to 4" long, which is a good size for most
aquariums. We have both males and females in several color
variations.

| Featherfin Squeaker |
This
fish's scientific name is Synodontis eupterus. Synodontis
are also called Squeaker Catfish, because they squeak when
taken out of the water. This species has a beautiful pattern
and a long top fin, making it quite a beauty. They are very
hardy and can live a long time, maybe 25-years or more. The
biggest one we've seen was about 8" long, so eventually they
need a big aquarium.

FREE SHIPPING on LIVE ORDERS over $139.00
There's always an additional charge of $20.00 for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. If you request delivery on Saturday, there's an additional charge of $15.00. |
| We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety of the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that's very safe for the fish. |
| Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges! |
| We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one. |
| About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was charged the same shipping charges. |
| So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ... |
