The top picture shows a young mature male and the lower picture shows a young mature female, which you can see is plumper than the male. This is a wonderful pet fish, because it's hardy, energetic, and compatible with many kinds of fish. It's small and can live in either a cool water aquarium with cool water fish, or it can live in a warm water aquarium with tropical fish.

This is the most popular fish species in the history of tropical fish. Some say they're not hardy, but that's far from the truth. The ones in our aquariums are very very hardy with exceptional coloration. The one in the picture, just above, eats premium flake foods several times each day.
Neon Tetras are available just about everywhere that tropical fish are sold, but these Neons are premium fish that have been given exceptionally good care and fed lots of premium flake food. It makes a difference! ;^ }

This nice Silver Dollar fish was swimming in one of our aquariums, when DrTom snapped this picture. Silver Dollars are schooling fish that live best in a group of its own species. A member of the group of species that's called the Malawi Peacocks from Lake Malawi in East Africa. Malawi is a huge freshwater lake that 's jam-packed full of colorful Cichlid species, but none is more colorful than the Peacocks. In fact Malawi Peacocks are some of the very most colorful fish in the world.
The fish, shown above, was born and raised on a famous fish farm. When we get them, the males are just starting to show their amazing coloration. The females remain less colorful.

Orandas are variety of fancy goldfish with big bumps on their heads. The Red Cap Oranda, shown in the picture just above, has a big red bump that's called a Red Cap, just for fun. ;^ }
All of our Goldfish are very high quality at really wonderful bargain prices. These Red Cap Orandas may be the biggest bargain of all. Right now they're 2" to 2.5" long with nice big, deep Red Caps.
They love to eat premium flake and pellet foods and grow fast on that diet, which also gives them a beautiful sheen. These are highly recommended aquarium fish.
By the way, we stock Oranda Goldfish in two sizes: 2" to 2.5", which is a nice size, and 3" to 3.5", which is a nice bigger size.

The Mbunas are a group of gorgeous Cichlids from Lake Malawi in East Africa, and this Demasoni is one of the prettiest. Mbunas are also very aggressive fish, and Demasoni is one of the most aggressive Mbunas. Even so aquarist love this species. It will live best in a group with at least 15-Mbunas in an aquarium with at least 75-gallons of water.

These are young mature, energetic, and very healthy Male Fancy Guppies. The top one is a Tequila Sunrise and the lower one is a Coral Red. Both types are very brightly colored and two of our favorite types of guppies.

Shipping Charges
You pay$33.25 to ship any size order. This includes the cost for the special insulated carton, packing the fish, and we prepay the delivery company.
You pay for the fish you want at the prices shown on our Price List plus one charge of $33.25 for shipping one order with as many fish as you order to one address.
FREE SHIPPING on LIVE ORDERS over $139.00 There's always an additional charge of $20.00 for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. If you request delivery on Saturday, there's an additional charge of $15.00.
We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety of the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that's very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was charged the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...
