Continued list of Featured Items We've got about 300-aquariums with freshwater fish. Freddie, Bruce, Nevin, and even Tom pick out some of the best to list here !
This is a wonderful Pet Shrimp. They're pretty with a
nice pattern, very hardy, very energetic, very easy to care for, and they breed well in most aquariums.
Of course bigger fish will make a quick snack out of them, but otherwise Tiger Shrimp usually do very well.
This is a rare and unique invertebrate. We have them right now, and they're premium quality in excellent condition. The picture above shows one in one of our aquariums, when we snapped this picture. If you want one, now's the time to get one.

The top picture shows a bright male Red Zebra, and the bottom picture shows a female with a mouthful of babies, that are peeking out of her mouth!
Mbunas are large flock of closely related Cichlid fish species that live among the rocks along the shores of Lake Malawi in East Africa.
DrTom and Nevin love all kinds of fish, but Mbunas are their favorites because of their very bright colors, interesting behaviors, and Mbunas grow to a nice size for aquariums.
We feed our Mbunas premium fish foods, which works like magic on Mbunas to bring out their colors, increase their energy, and produce frequent spawning!

Look at the coloration! This is one of the most beautiful freshwater fish in the world. To my eyes the colors rival Discus Fish!
The problem is they've been out of stock for quite a while. But we've been nattering our buyer, and he just got us some that are 2" to 2.5" long and looking good but have not yet developed the coloration shown in the picture.
To get the maximum coloration you'll need to grow them a bit and feed them premium food, which is what DrTom did with the fish in the picture.
By the way this fish is a mild Cichlid species that's not too aggressive. They're also another good example of the unique fish available here at AquariumFish.net. Click here to shop online for a Red Spotted Severum. Click

This is not a common Aquarium Fish, but we
stock both popular aquarium fish and fish like this one that should be popular.
This fish is more elongated than the picture shows. We like its long slim shape and its pink coloration
with dark markings. By the way can you see the lipstick mark on his cheek? ;^ }
This Sumo does not hide and is very interesting to watch, as it hops around the bottom, usually stopping on top of a rock. It seems to prefer rocks that are right under the water fall from the filter, where the
water is highly aerated.
We feed our Sumo Loaches premium flake and pellet foods, which they like to eat. This is a hardy,
energetic, and highly recommended aquarium fish! Click

Someone emailed us back, saying they couldn't really see the lipstick marks on this fish's
face. So we took the close-up pic, shown just below.
This fish is new, rare, and very interesting. Ours are all wild fish, which were caught in small rivers in northern Burma in Asia. Like many fish from rivers, they are long, slender, and need to live in very fresh water. So we give their aquarium frequent partial water changes and plenty of aeration. DrTom recommends a Bio-Wheel Filter.
They do very well on a diet of premium flake and pellet foods. These are Premium Pet Fish. Click here to shop online for a Royal Banded Loach. Click here for more about premium fish foods. Click here to learn more about Bio-Wheel Filters.
Someone said that this
African Dwarf Frogs was seen tiptoeing home late last night, after too much fun at a rowdy party. It's possible, but knowing this particular frog the way we do, we've got our doubts.
Even when they're not tiptoeing these small Frogs are still very entertaining. A long-long time ago The Bailey Bros' mother, Faye, kept one in a pickle jar with a sprig of foxtail plant in her kitchen
on the counter by the stove.
On cold days she'd move it a couple inches closer to the stove, where it would be a little warmer. It lived there for many years.

We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety of the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that's very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was charged the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...
