Corydoras is a very large genus of Dwarf Catfish that live in the Amazon Rainforest. They're all wonderful aquarium fish. Even if you're not quite sure which one is living in your aquarium like DrTom, who's not quite sure what species these Corys are. But whatever their names they're wonderful aquarium fish.
Wonderful? Here's what DrTom likes about these Cory Catfish. They seem to be about full grown now at 1.75" or so, and that's really a nice size fish for many aquariums. Corys are not aggressive, but have spiny fins
so other fish usually don't
bother them. As you can see they're very attractive, plus they're hardy, energetic, and easy to feed premium flake and pellet foods.

This picture was taken by DrTom today of a Male Red Betta Fish that seems to have some, what would you say? Curls along the edges of his fins.
Just like people, no two Betta Fish are quite the same, and if you look carefully at your Betta, you'll see some differences. This male also has a dark face but not so dark as some males, just darker than his body, which is a dazzling light red.

Two months ago DrTom was talking on the phone with his brother Nevin, who was looking at the Betta Fish and said there were lots of gorgeous new males, including one with bright white tips on its pelvic fins.

A member of the group of species that's called the Malawi Peacocks from Lake Malawi in East Africa. Malawi is a huge freshwater lake that 's jam-packed full of colorful Cichlid species, but none is more colorful than the Peacocks. In fact Malawi Peacocks are some of the very most colorful fish in the world.
The fish, shown above, was born and raised on a famous fish farm. When we get them, the males are just starting to show their amazing coloration. The females remain less colorful.

This is a very nice Plecostomus catfish species, which has a more attractive pattern than the regular Plecostomus. The White Spotted Pleco. has L-numbers L001 and L022, which at one time were thought to be different species but are now thought to be the same species. Shipping Charges
You pay$33.25 to ship any size order. This includes the cost for the special insulated carton, packing the fish, and we prepay the delivery company.
You pay for the fish you want at the prices shown on our Price List plus one charge of $33.25 for shipping one order with as many fish as you order to one address.
FREE SHIPPING on LIVE ORDERS over $139.00 There's always an additional charge of $20.00 for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. If you request delivery on Saturday, there's an additional charge of $15.00.
We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety of the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that's very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was charged the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...
