Male White Guppy
|
We've got such a really great buyer, and a few weeks ago we said something like, "Dang, we need some EXCITING new Male Guppies with some new flash."
Last week we got a bunch of new Males labeled "Snow White", and immediately we said, "Yee-Oww, those are EXCITING and much prettier than we were hoping for." We also wondered, "How does our buyer find
fish like these on the other side of the world?"
Often when a new fish is very beautiful like these are, they're also very healthy and energetic. It all goes together. They're eating lots of premium flake food, and eager to come and live in your
aquarium. How's that for EXCITING?

Corydoras Catfish
|
Corydoras is a very large genus of Dwarf Catfish that live in the Amazon Rainforest. They're all wonderful aquarium fish. Even if you're not quite sure which one is living in your aquarium like DrTom,
who is not quite sure what species this is. But whatever the name it's a wonderful aquarium fish.
Wonderful? Here's what DrTom likes about it. Seems to be about full grown now at about 1.75" or so, and that's really a nice size fish for many aquariums. Corys are not aggressive, but have spiny fins
so other fish do not usually bother Corys. As you can see it's very attractive, and it's hardy, energetic, and easy to feed premium flake and pellet foods.

Starlight Spiny Eel
|
Spiny Eels are smart interesting predators that eat fish, shrimps, worms, and other live animals that will fit into their mouths. They will not eat flake or pellet foods. Most aquarists, who own a
Spiny Eel agree that it's more work to feed live foods, but Spiny Eels are very interesting and worth the extra effort.

Golden Honey Gourami
|
This is
yet another fabulous aquarium fish, especially for smaller aquariums, because Honey Gouramis only grow
to be at most 2" long. Well that might not be entirely true ... mostly true but not always true, because
unlike mammals, fish continue to grow their entire lives. So occasionally there's specimen that's much
much larger than normal.
But this is a small fish that does very well with other small fish like Neon Tetras, While Clouds, and
Cory Catfish. They prefer to eat premium flake food. We love them. The one shown above is a beautiful
golden male. This is a very highly recommended aquarium fish.

Black Lace Angelfish |
Apparently
the genes, which are responsible for the color in these Freshwater Angelfish, are well understood now,
and it's said that Black Lace Angelfish have one gene for black coloration, whereas Black
Angelfish have two such genes.
Whatever the genes involved, this is a really gorgeous and unique Angelfish variety. Especially when
they're fed lots of premium food. By the way, they'll eat small pellets but all Angelfish seem to prefer
eating flakes. We love our premium quality Angelfish.

Glowlight Danio |
This fish
has been here on this list of Featured Items a couple of times in the past few months, because they're a
great aquarium fish. You can see their bodies glisten like pieces of living jewelry.
As we've said before, they're very hardy and energetic, and every time we look at ours, they're more
colorful. This one lives in one of DrTom's 29-gallon aquariums, where it gets good care and lots of
premium food.

Banded Leporinus |
A
beautiful inhabitant of the Amazon Rainforest, the Banded Leporinus is an excellent aquarium fish that's
not too aggressive but may eat much smaller fish and nip the fins of very slow swimming fish like
Angelfish.
These Banded Leporinus can swim fast to avoid problems with most aggressive fish. It's also
very hardy and does very well on a diet of premium fish food.

Quarreling Loaches
|
The fish on the left is a Zebra Loach, and the fish on the right is a Royal Banded Loach. Neither one of them quarrels with any other fish in this aquarium, but they seem to recognize each other as
rivals, and quarrel ferociously!
We stock several very cool Loach species that are all very good aquarium fish. They are all hardy and energetic. They don't hide. And they all eat lots of premium flake and pellet food.

We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety to the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that is very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was changed the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...
