Marbled Sailfin Pleco |
Lot of new aquarists think that Plecostomus species are weird and ugly. But as time goes by most aquarists
learn to enjoy Plecostomus catfish more and more and finally come to see the real beauty in them!
There are many many species of Plecos, and the one shown above is one of the best. It eats lots of algae
but does not harm most plants. You can see in the picture that it develops a beautiful pattern of orange
with chocolate spots.
This species grows to about 12", which is a large fish that will eventually need a large aquarium. It
has a lifespan of several or even many years with good care, which includes feeding them premium food.

A Male Red Crystal Barb |
This is one of our favorite aquarium fish !! Mature males, like the one shown above, are ... well really incredible!! This one lives in DrTom's 29-gallon aquarium, where this picture was taken. Here at AquariumFish.net we don't have any males like this one to ship to you right now.
When this male was young and small, he looked like the mature female, shown just below. |

A Female Red Crystal Barb |
We have lots of young maturing Crystal Barbs right now that look like the female, shown above. We also have a few males that are just starting to get some red coloration like the male shown farther above. With excellent care a young male can quickly grow and attain full coloration. This is a highly recommended aquarium fish.

Jewel Cichlid |
There are several Cichlid fish species in the
genus Hemichromis. The fish shown above may be Hemichromis guttatus. Whatever the scientific name it
seems to be a good aquarium fish.
It's inexpensive, gorgeous, very hardy, very energetic and active. So far they haven't really caused
trouble, and seem to be able to avoid trouble.
When we got them, they were about 1" long with lots of metallic blue, but now they're 2" long with more red,
as you can see.
We feed them premium flake and pellet foods, which they love to eat.

Live Aquatic Plants |
The picture just above shows a beautiful Cryptocoryne plant. Live plants greatly increase the beauty of aquariums and naturally help improve the water quality. We strongly recommend plants in pots, so their roots are not bruised, when the plants are moved.
We just got in a lot of beautiful fresh live plants!

Glowlight Danio |
Every fish species
has been molded by its natural environment, but it seems like this fish was molded to live in an
aquarium.
It's inexpensive, gorgeous, very hardy, very energetic and active, doesn't really cause trouble, but
swims very fast to avoid trouble. It's really a perfect aquarium fish.
We feed all of our Danios premium flake and pellet foods, which they all love to eat. By the way this is
a natural occurring species and is not a genetically modified Zebra Danio, like the so-called Glofish.

Sumo Loach |
This is not a common Aquarium Fish, but we
stock both popular aquarium fish and fish like this one that should be popular.
This fish is more elongated than the picture shows. We like its long slim shape and its pink coloration
with dark markings. By the way can you see the lipstick mark on his cheek? ;^ }
This Sumo does not hide and is very interesting to watch, as it hops around the bottom, usually stopping
on top of a rock. It seems to prefer rocks that are right under the water fall from the filter, so the
water is highly aerated.
We feed our Sumo Loaches premium flake and pellet foods, which they like to eat. This is a hardy,
energetic, and highly recommended aquarium fish!

Someone immediately emailed us back, saying they couldn't really see the lipstick marks on this fish's
face. So we took the close-up pic, shown just below.

$139.00
There's always an additional charge of
$20.00 for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. If you request delivery on Saturday, there is an additional charge of
$15.00. |
| |
We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety to the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that is very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was changed the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...

About our Fish Photographs ...
|
|
Almost all the photographs and videos, shown on this web site, were taken
by us in our aquariums of our fish. Compare the healthy,
beautiful, energetic fish in our beautiful aquariums to the
fish in our competitors pictures. Their fish often look thin
with clamped fins and poor color.
We buy the highest quality fish, produced by the best fish
farms or caught by the best collectors of wild fish, then we take incredibly good care of our fish in our beautiful aquariums. If you compare the pictures on this site to our competitors pictures, you can instantly see, our fish and aquariums are better!
