Red Torpedo Barb |
This is not a common Aquarium Barb, but we
stock both popular aquarium fish and fish like this that should be popular.
These slim torpedo shaped fish are very colorful, very hardy, very energetic, swim fast to avoid
trouble, don't cause any trouble themselves, and are easy to feed premium foods to bring out their
maximum coloration.
These Red Torpedo Barbs can grow to be about 6" long but remain slender, so they're a nice size fish for aquariums with
50-gallons of water and more. This is a highly recommended aquarium fish!
Oh No! we see this fish offered elsewhere on the internet for $39.99.
Another site brags about their price at $19.99, and guarantees it's the lowest price on the internet, which is not
true! ;^ }

Painted Swordtail |
This Swordtail is bright orange with black marks that look like they were spattered on by an abstract
painter. Every Painted Swordtail has a unique pattern of black spots! These Painted Swordtails are exceptionally nice right now.
Swordtails are very hardy, very energetic, easy to care for, easy to feed, and develop a beautiful glossy sheen, when fed premium food. It's also easy to tell males from females. A male has a sword on
the end of his tail!
Here is something that's not often mentioned about Swordtails. The males have an amazing ability to swim backwards, when they're excited, which often happens when they're jousting with other males and
waving their swords!

Golden Pencilfish |
This fish has many relatives living in the Amazon Rainforest. Some people seem to think Pencilfishes are
delicate, but these guys are very hardy and very energetic. A golden stripe glistens just above the black stripe, as you can see in picture just above.
Golden Pencilfish have been spawned many times in aquariums. In an aquarium with live plants they seem more likely to spawn especially when fed premium fish food flakes. Highly recommended.

Red and Black Oranda |
Is that fish Red and Black? Not to our eyes. It's Orange and Black. But everyone calls it a Red and
Black Oranda. Whatever color, it's a beautiful fish, and it's rare.
You can also see that this fish has a nice glossy sheen, which is probably because we feed it premium fish food. If you want your fish to look their best, feed them the best food.
Right now we have a few of the Red and Black, plus some Red, Red and White, Red Cap, Chocolate, and
Unique Orandas. All of them are Premium Oranda Goldfish.

Update: found lots of small annoying snails in one of my aquariums yesterday. So I moved one Clown Loach into that aquarium, and today all the snails are gone, eaten by the Clown Loach, who is now
ready to go back to the original aquarium with all my other Clown Loaches. That was a very easy way to get rid of lots of small snails.

holy smokes! FedEx was just here ... you sent me an extra fish! :D they are gorgeous! floating them now I can't wait to see them in the tank, thank you!!
Yeah I am most impressed with the level of service from you guys, I will definitely buy from you again! After reading the included acclimation guide I did as you suggest, drain some water and then just add them to the tank, I use aquarium salt already and changed the water just a couple days ago so that should be all good. Everyone is getting along nicely, I have 2 zebra danios, 6 rummy nose tetras, Vinni the pleco, and Blanche the undead Angel fish, they are a little miffed that the lights are out but everybody is getting along great :)
Right out of the box they looked like silver minnows, but after about 5 minutes in the tank their stripe popped out and man don't they look fantastic!

Black Half-Moon Betta Male |
These are
rare. In fact the 100% Black Males are so rare that we probably do not have one now!
Even so the male above is really nice with the blue streaks in his fins making a dazzling pattern. This
is an example of the premium pet fish we have in our aquariums.

Banded Leporinus |
A
beautiful inhabitant of the Amazon Rainforest, the Banded Leporinus is an excellent aquarium fish that's
not too aggressive but may eat much smaller fish and nip the fins of very slow swimming fish such as
Angelfish. These Banded Leporinus can swim fast to avoid problems with most aggressive fish. It's also
very hardy and does very well on a diet of premium fish food.

We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety to the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that is very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was changed the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...
