Electric Blue Ram |
Aquarists have kept and loved Rams for a long time, but this variety is NEW! Their scientific name is
Microgeophagus ramirezi, which has been shortened to Ram Cichlid. Their ancestors lived in pools on the
savannah in northern South America. This is a dazzling new color variety, which grows to be about 2.5"
long and is highly recommended as an aquarium fish.

Panda Garra |
A wonderful, energetic, hardy, peaceful
aquarium fish that usually scoots around the bottom of the aquarium or sometimes hangs on the glass.
This species is native to flowing streams, and so it does best in an aquarium with lots of partial water
changes and a filter that vigorously agitates the water.
Panda Garras thrive on a diet of premium fish food and grow to be about 2.5" to 3" long, which is a
nice size for many aquariums.

Coolie Loach |
Coolie Loaches are comedians. They do the
darndest things. You look around your aquarium and find them in strange places. Or you can't find them
at all, because they bury themselves down in the gravel for several days. You miss them and worry
about them, then they show up again, climbing around in a plant, like the one in the picture just above.

Xingu Pike Cichlid |
Nevin put this fish in one of DrTom's aquariums
a few months ago, when it was 4" to 5" long. Now it's already 8" to 9" long and needs a new home in a
big aquarium with probably more than 100-gallons of water!
It's a very smart fish and enjoyed watching DrTom, as much as DrTom enjoyed watching this fish! There is just this
one premium fish!
It's been eating lots of premium fish food pellets and growing very fast. DrTom recommends getting plenty of those
pellets.

Red Torpedo Barb |
This is not a common Aquarium Barb, but we
stock both popular aquarium fish and fish like this that should be popular.
These slim torpedo shaped fish are very colorful, very hardy, very energetic, swim fast to avoid
trouble, don't cause any trouble themselves, and are easy to feed premium foods to bring out their
maximum coloration.
They can grow to be about 6" long but remain slender, so they're a nice size fish for aquariums with
50-gallons of water and more. This is a highly recommended aquarium fish!

Beautiful Angelfish |
In late 2008 DrTom got several young premium quality Angelfish and put them in one of his 55-gallon
aquariums. They had plenty of space, excellent quality water quality, which was kept at about 78-degrees
F., and the Angels were fed premium fish food flakes and pellets several times a day.
All of the Angelfish grew rapidly. The picture, shown above, was taken in July 2009 of one of the
Angels, which is a Leopard Angel. You can see the fabulous mixture of colors in this Angel. All of the
other Angels grew to be very beautiful too.
The Angels now for sale in our aquariums are from the same famous fish farm. Get some and raise them up
like DrTom did in his aquarium. Everybody loves an Angel!

Malawi Peacocks |
Shown above are two fish from a group of species called the Malawi Peacocks from Lake Malawi in East Africa. Malawi is a huge freshwater lake that 's jam-packed full of colorful Cichlid species, but none is more colorful than the Peacocks. In fact Malawi Peacocks are some of the very most colorful fish in the world.
Both of the fish, shown above, were born and raised on famous fish farms. When we get them, the males are just starting to show their amazing coloration. The females remain grey.

We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety to the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that is very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was changed the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...
