Dear Aquatic Plant Seller,
I want to inform you that the state of Maine recently passed a law making it illegal to sell or distribute 11 species of aquatic plants in the state. These plants are considered
to be invasive and therefore a threat to the natural waters of Maine. Please check your aquatic plants to make sure you dont sell any of the listed species to Maine companies

Hello,
My
name is Howard Vinton and I am an
inspector with the Massachusetts
Department of Agricultural Resources.
It has been brought to my attention that
you may be selling plants listed in our
prohibited plant list to customers who
reside in Massachusetts. I would much
appreciate it if you would post on your
website that such prohibited plants
cannot be sold into Massachusetts. For
a complete list of our prohibited plants
go to the DAR website at
www.mass.gov/agr.
If
you have any further questions you may
email or call me on my cell phone (I am
usually out in the field) at
617-224-3540.
Thank you for your understanding in this
matter.
Sincerely,
Howie Vinton
