for more about buying a Silver Needle Nose Gar like this one from us.
The Silver Needle Nose Gar is a slender piscivorous fish that stalks and eats small fish about the size of a guppy.
Scientific Name: Xenentodon cancila.
Comments
The Silver Needle Nose shown above had just finished eating a large guppy. and if you look closely, you can actually see a bump in its
stomach about half way from the tip of the beak to the beginning of the fins. It is amazing to watch these fish hunt small fish, catch them, then flip them around until they're properly lined up
to be swallowed head first.
