Comments
Fan Dancer Gobies are brackish water fish. They can gradually adapt to living in either freshwater or saltwater but do best in water with about 1 Tablespoon
of
aquarium salt per each 5 gallons of aquarium
water. They
are bottom dwelling fish that are energetic, mildly
aggressive, and have huge appetites. Feed them with
live or frozen food several times a day. Fan
Dancer Gobies are also called Knight Gobies.

Recommended Diet
When hungry a Fan Dancer Goby
might eat floating flake food for tropical fish
that's available in most stores that sell pet fish. Gobies
will probably eat freeze dried blood worms and freeze
dried shrimps. Both of these foods are also available
in stores that sell pet fish. Like
most brackish water fish, Fan Dancer Gobies need
to eat live and frozen brine shrimp. Click
here for more about feeding fish.

Compatibility
Fan Dancer Gobies constantly quarrel among themselves, and somehow it wouldn't seem right to have less than three or four, so they can quarrel. Most fish, except predators, live with fish of their same species, and so it seems fitting to keep them that way in an aquarium. A brackish water aquarium should have at least 50 gallons of water and a variety of species; with at least three or four fish of each species. Other brackish water fish such as Mollies, Archers, Scats, Monos, Needle Noses, and White Tip Shark Catfish are good tank mates for these Fan Dancer Gobies.
