Clown Loaches
|
You just can't help but love this fish. Of course they're beautiful. Very beautiful. They're also playful and very entertaining. They use the barbels around their mouths to search the bottom for bits
of uneaten food, which helps keep the aquarium clean and the water fresh.
Clown Loaches usually do not bother other fish and can defend themselves from aggressive fish with the sharp barb under each eye. Like almost all freshwater fish they do best eating premium food,
which increases their energy and the intensity of their colors.

Ghost Shrimp
|
Do these Shrimps look kind of ghostly? Not to us. We think they're cute as a bugs ear! But they're small, measuring about 1"; so it's nice to have an inexpensive magnifying glass to watch a Ghost
Shrimp, using all four of its arm-like appendages to pick tiny bits of food off the bottom of the aquarium and put those bits into its mouth. In this way Ghost Shrimp help keep the aquarium clean and
the water fresh. We love our Ghost Shrimp and highly recommend them. Plus they're very inexpensive.

Neon Tetras
|
This is the most popular fish in the history of tropical fish. Some say they're not hardy, but that's far from the truth. The ones here are very very hardy with exceptional coloration. These ones in
the picture eat premium flake foods several times each day.
Neon Tetras are available just about everywhere that tropical fish are sold, but these Neons are premium fish that have been given exceptionally good care and fed lots of premium flake food. It makes

Female Bettas
|
Here are new pictures of our Female Bettas, and we have lots of Female Bettas with excellent coloration. These female are very young and just beginning to fill with eggs.
Several of Female Betta Fish can live together in the same aquarium unlike Male Betta Fish that will fight and harm each other, when kept in the same aquarium.
We feed our Female Bettas premium pellet food, which they gobble up. Feeding premium pellets greatly increases their energy, coloration, and sheen. Premium foods are also more digestible with no fillers, so there is
less waste, and the water stays cleaner.

Peacock Gudgeon
|
The fish is often called a Peacock Goby, and it does look
like a Goby, but it's not a Goby. It's a Gudgeon, and so
Peacock Gudgeon is a better name.
Whatever its name, this is a beautiful fish that's not very
aggressive but is very hardy and rather easy to breed.

Long Fin Pleco
|
There are lots and lots of species of Plecostomus Catfish in the Amazon Rainforests in South America.
The Long Fin Pleco, shown above, is one of our favorites. It's gorgeous with long spotted fins, and it has bristles around its mouth that are cute!
The one shown above lives in one of DrTom's aquariums, where it constantly grazes on the EcoBio-Stones, like one shown above.
This is a very good aquarium fish and is highly recommended.

Penguin Tetras
|
Loaches are large group of Asian Fishes. Zebra Loaches, like the one shown above, are good aquarium fish, because they're hardy, usually don't bother
other fish and aren't bothered by other fish, and they grow to a nice size for aquariums.
They are also pretty fish with a striking zebra-pattern. We feed all of our loaches lots of premium pellet and flake food, which increases their energy, coloration, and usually puts a nice sheen on
them. ;^ )

Penguin Tetras
|
The Amazon Rainforest in South America has lots of really wonderful aquarium fish, and this is one of them. Penguin Tetras develop the brassy metallic sheen you can see
in this picture. This is also a hardy aquarium fish that is mild tempered, and of course it has that unique black stripe that angles down on its tail. Right now we have some really nice ones
that we recommend.

Electric Blue Hap
|
Above a young male is showing off his dazzling metallic blue coloration. This is one of the most beautiful freshwater fish in the world.
Right now we have some really nice ones that are about 1.5" to 2" long. They are still grey-tan, but will continue to grow fast and the males will color up soon. Especially when fed premium pellet and
flake foods.
This is a Cichlid, whose ancestors lived in Lake Malawi, but the ones we have now were spawned and raised on fish farms, and they're more mellow than most Cichlids from Malawi.

We try our best to keep shipping charges down, but we want to maximize the safety to the fish that are shipped, because we love them a lot. So we ship using "Overnight". The boxes leave here late in the afternoon and almost always arrive before noon the next day, and that is very safe for the fish.
Long ago a very nice fellow ordered one Ghost Shrimp for much less than $1.00 and the shipping charges were much, much more than that for one small box. Before shipping, we called him, and he said he was perfectly happy with the charges!
We were amazed and ended up sending him two extra free shrimps. He called back a couple of days later to thank us, and even said that it's much better watching three shrimps interact than just having one.
About a week or two later he order hundreds of fish. In fact his order required three or four large boxes! He was changed the same shipping charges.
So ... one shrimp or hundreds of fish the shipping charges are usually the same ... except we now temporarily offer ...
